The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced today that has broadened its global outreach capabilities with the appointment of Annemarie Gilly as a vice president, Product Management, Wealth Management Services.
Gilly will be responsible for expanding DTCCs Mutual Fund Services further into the offshore markets. These services provide critical processing and information-exchange services to the mutual fund industry and link business partners through a centralized infrastructure.
With more than 20 years in the asset management industry, Annemarie brings a particular level of leadership and command of the market that will support our strategy to extend the cost, risk and distribution efficiencies of our services to new customers, says Ann Bergin, managing director and general manager, Wealth Management Services.
Mutual Fund Services are provided by DTCCs National Securities Clearing Corporation subsidiary.
As President of Gilly Consulting Inc., which she formed in 2006, Gilly handled business development for a large hedge fund administrator, conducted fund-related studies for several independent boards of directors, and developed strategic marketing materials for several hedge funds.
Previously, from 2003 to 2005, she served as global head of Client Servicing for GlobeOp Financial Services LLC, where she had oversight for more than 125 hedge fund and fund-of-fund clients and managed a 45-member department that handled investor and client relationships.
As head of UK Relationship Management for The Bank of New York from 2001 to 2003, she was based in London, managing a team responsible for over 200 fund managers, banks and insurance-carrier clients.
In addition, Gilly spent eight years with the Zweig Organization, from 1993 to 2001, managing client services for the companys open-end, closed-end and hedge-fund businesses. Earlier in her career, she worked for Concord Financial Group, The Gabelli Equity Trust and Drexel Burnham Lambert in positions with responsibility for compliance, operations, retail sales and investor relations.
