BISYS Alternative Investment Services, the former Hemisphere fund administration business, is to open a new servicing facility in Waterford, Ireland, to complement its existing operations in Dublin. It will provide services to BISYS’s hedge fund and private equity clients around the world.

As we considered expansion alternatives to support our growth, an additional Irish location was a logical choice. Ireland, the premier growth center in the hedge fund industry in Europe, provides administration for 30% of hedge funds world-wide. We believe that Waterford is an ideal location to expand our Irish operations.”
BISYS Alternative Investment Services services over $200 billion in assets under administration. It supports approximately 450 clients and over 1,600 funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds, and other alternative investment products.
