Mellon Fund Administration (Dublin) Limited has made several significant new appointments:
John Maguire, Chief Operating Officer John Maguire is Chief Operating Officer of Mellon Fund Administration (Dublin) Limited, responsible for the Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency activities carried out in Ireland.
Mr. Maguire has more than 14 years experience in the Offshore Funds business. Prior to joining Mellon, he was General Manager of Clydesdale’s Trustee business in Dublin. He has previously held management positions in the securities servicing areas of Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank. Deirdre Nolan, Transfer Agency Manager Deirdre Nolan joined Mellon Fund Administration (Dublin) Limited in August 2001 and is responsible for the Transfer Agency Department.
Ms. Nolan previously worked in Cogent Investment Operations (Ireland) Limited as Shareholder Services Manager (1998-2001), Investors Fund Services (Ireland) Limited as Share Registration Supervisor (1996-1998), and in Chemical Ireland Fund Administrators/Chase Manhattan Bank in a similar role (1994 -1996).
Sylvia Gallagher, Pricing & Valuations Manager Sylvia Gallagher joined Mellon Fund Administration (Dublin) Limited in October 2001 and is responsible for the Pricing and Valuations teams. Ms. Gallagher managed the fund accounting teams in Ulster Bank Investment Services (1994 – 1999) and AIB/BNY Fund Management (1999 – 2001).
Tina Tuthill, Tax & Accounts Manager Tina Tuthill is responsible for the Fund and Management Accounting teams. She joined Mellon in the UK in July 1994 and transferred to Mellon Fund Administration (Dublin) Limited in November 1995, where she has held a number of posts in Fund Accounting and Pricing & Valuations. Ms. Tuthill is a graduate of Dublin City University (BA in Accounting Finance) and is a Chartered Certified accountant.
