In 2019, the French real estate fund Mata Capital raised more than €350 million through distributing tokenised shares in a Parisian hotel construction using a blockchain platform developed by Consensys. The deal has transformed every step of the real estate transaction lifecycle from asset creation to KYC/onboarding; and from order management to corporate actions.
