SS&C Technologies has extended its long-term servicing relationship with global investment manager Ninety One, where it will provide transfer agency to the firm’s UK business.

Ninety One, formerly Investec Asset Management, will use the SS&C Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) platform for transfer agency services to its Ninety One Fund Managers UK business.

The mandate will include SS&C providing investor and distribution solutions, as well working with Ninety One to enhance the fund’s digital investor engagement and further develop analytics capabilities.

“SS&C supports our growth with consistent service and continuous investment in new tools for investors, sales and distribution and transfer agency oversight. We look forward to continuing our collaboration,” said Cora Kielblock, head of global operations, Ninety One.

The mandate follows on from SS&C’s impressive list of new transfer agency mandates for its UK business.

Launched in September last year, SS&C GIDS provides a full range of transfer agency services, including record-keeping, unique data-driven operational insights, real-time transparent oversight, intelligent automation, and state-of-the-art digital tools for Davis Advisors’ shareholders.

Over the past 10 months, SS&C has won several high-profile transfer agency servicing deals in Europe from the likes of Aberdeen Standard Investments, Janus Henderson, Conbrio Fund Advisors and Eurizon.

“SS&C is committed to helping our clients retain and capture new assets through the full spectrum of distribution channels with cutting-edge technology and industry-leading service.” said Spencer Baum, head of client service and relationship management, SS&C GIDS.

Last week on the tech giant’s quarterly earnings call, CEO and chairman Bill Stone said it plans to leverage its presence in the UK to expand in the European asset management space.
