Global Custodian is pleased to announce the first set of shortlists for its annual Industry Leaders Awards to be held in New York at Chelsea Piers on 21 November.
The evening recognises outstanding performers from our Prime Brokerage, Hedge Fund Administration, Private Equity Administration and Exchange-Traded Fund Administration surveys.
This year we will also be awarding two regional custody honours for North America and Latin America respectively, though the former will be revealed in due course as this year’s relevant survey responses are still being validated.
In addition to the survey award shortlists, our Editors’ Choice shortlists will be released next Monday. There is still time to submit nominations for Editors’ Choice consideration, as well as for our Innovation Awards via this link.
A handful of firms have dominated this year’s shortlist with BNY and its subsidiaries –including CIBC and Pershing – appearing in 17 categories combined, while Ultimus has been nominated a dozen times.
JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, SS&C and Clear Street are all up for seven awards each.
Citi, Intertrust and RBC earn five nominations apiece, while Opus dominates Hedge Fund Administration with six, and Artex Fund Services stands out in Private Equity with four. Trident Trust appears six times across the fund administration segments. There are also multiple nods for BNP Paribas, CSC, State Street and U.S. Bank.
