BNP Paribas promotes institutional sales expert to run global FX prime brokerage

BNP Paribas has made a number of senior hires to its prime services division this year, predominantly within sales.

BNP Paribas has elevated one of its senior institutional sales expert to become the new global head of FX prime brokerage.

Nathaniel Litwak, who has held a number of senior roles for BNP Paribas including leading the FX prime brokerage platform in the Americas, will be responsible for expanding the business and aligning with the bank’s global strategy.

Based in New York, he will report to Jeff Lowe, head of prime solutions and financing (PS&F) Americas and Kieron Smith, deputy head of PS&F.

BNP Paribas has made a number of senior hires to its prime services division this year, predominantly within sales. In March, the bank hired a new prime brokerage sales head for the Asia-Pacific region, and in September last year, hired Citi’s former head of client executives as global head of prime brokerage sales.

BNP Paribas is one of a number of banks that has appointed new leaders to their FX prime brokerage divisions over the last year, including BNY Mellon, HSBC, JP Morgan and Standard Chartered.
