Tepin Information announced Tuesday that Charles River Development selected its FIX test tool Ki to automate FIX regression testing with its Charles River Investment Management System. After evaluating a number of FIX test tools, Charles River settled on Tepin Information’s Ki because of its user interface, ease of use and comprehensive FIX protocol coverage.
Ki allows Charles River to test simulated FIX communications, including executions and allocations, through its embedded Cameron Systems’ CameronFIX engine. Through simulations with Ki, Charles River’s Quality Assurance team is able to certify that both Charles River IMS and CameronFIX are meeting the firm’s product release functionality and quality goals.
“FIX has become an increasingly important part of the investment management process over the last ten years,” said Tim Kelly, director of quality assurance at Charles River. “Ki enabled us to improve our pre-release product testing coverage and also speed up our product release cycle.”
