Erste Bank has introduced a web-based service listing all AGMs and EGMs that take place in Austria. It gives the contact details of the company holding the meeting, plus the location, agenda and resolutions up for voting.
The bank says meeting agendas are available in German only at the moment – unless the company has produced an English version – but the bank expects to add to the site new features giving all meeting agendas in English, and the results of votes taken at the meeting, within the next eight months.
“We are convinced that this new application will give our clients a much better overview of all general meetings in the Austrian market and real time access to all listed corporations,” says a spokeswoman for Erste Bank in Vienna. “During this pilot phase the access is free to everyone without any limitation. In future we plan to give unlimited access – on password basis to our clients only.”
