Global Custodian is pleased to announce the full list of winners from its Leaders in Custody awards, which were presented through a week of digital features on a dedicated platform last week.
Awards were handed out for outstanding performance across our Agent Banks and ETF Administration Surveys, while accolades were also given through our Editors’ Choice categories, Innovation recognitions and Individual honours.
Three global custody banks stood out as the biggest winners from the week, as BNP Paribas Securities Services dominated the sub-custody awards after scooping up nine awards, including a Lifetime Achievement award for its general manager Patrick Colle.
Meanwhile, BNY Mellon had a wider spread of awards, picking up five wins across ETF Administration, Editors’ Choice and Innovation, while its global head of custody, Caroline Butler won a tightly contested vote to bring home the Industry Person of the Year award.
JP Morgan’s number of awards may have been less than BNY Mellon and BNP Paribas, but the bank picked up two major honours in ETF Administrator of the Year and Global Custodian of the Year.
There were also double honours for Mizuho Bank, Piraeus, SIX and Citi, while DBS Bank picked up three awards.
