Stephen Grainger has joined SWIFT as Head of Banking and Payments.
Grainger joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was global head of market infrastructure. He entered Goldman as global head of bank relations in April 2010 and worked in that role before also assuming the role of global head of market infrastructure a year ago.
Prior to Goldman, Grainger worked in the network management and market infrastructure team at Merrill Lynch from October 2007 to April 2010. He joined Merrill from Citi where he was network manager from May 2005 to September 2007.
