HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has appointed Glenn Kennedy as the regional head of Sales and Relationship Management, Alternatives Sector for the Client Management Group in Asia Pacific.

Based in Hong Kong, Kennedy will be responsible for developing new and existing client relationships throughout the region with specific responsibility for hedge funds and private equity clients. This sector focus is supported by the recent creation of a global Client Management Group that will help the HSS business customize delivery based on the requirements of different client segments.

Kennedy joins HSS from Citi Fund Services (Asia) where he was a director for four years. Prior to this he worked as global head of Legal for BISYS in Dublin and in 2006 started and headed the BISYS expansion in to Asia.
