Intertrust has appointed a fund services veteran and family office specialist from IQ-EQ as global head of business development for its private wealth services.
Francis Parisis joins with over 20 years’ experience in wealth management including five years at IQ-EQ – previously SGG – and over seven years at Citco.
During his career he has worked across the fund and private wealth management sector, including both hedge fund and private equity, as well as real estate services.
“I’m delighted to welcome Francis to Intertrust. Our Private Wealth service line is intrinsic to our future growth and we have great ambitions to develop our existing technology to serve the needs of these clients,” said Ian Lynch, chief commercial officer at Intertrust.
Intertrust continues to add to its ranks as it looks to broaden its services through products and geographically. In the last six months the administrator has added to its Luxembourg and UK funds teams, its aviation finance capabilities and opened a new office in Shenzhen.
The moves helped earn Intertrust the award for Fund Administration: One to Watch at the Global Custodian Industry Leaders event in 2019.
Last year, Intertrust also announced the acquisition of fund administration provider Viteos and believes its specialised administrative services by leveraging artificial intelligence, blockchain and robotics process automation can be adapted for private wealth.
“I have watched Intertrust evolve in terms of strategy and vision into the technology-led business it is today, providing the next generation of administrative solutions,” said Parisis.
“This has been built on solid foundations to further improve and develop the services to our clients. Intertrust has always been a benchmark for our industry, but it is now leading the field in terms of innovation.”
