Managed Funds Association (MFA) has appointed Marc T. Charon as executive vice president and chief administrative officer effective immediately.

Charon comes to MFA from SmithBucklin Corporation, the world’s largest association management company, where he held several executive positions simultaneously, including vice president for financial management & accounting services and infrastructure business unit. He also was CFO for the American Society for Bone & Mineral Research and interim CFO for the America’s at SAP User Group.

Charon replaces Kate Rice, who has joined the Futures Industry Association.
