Manchester United Luddites Wreck JP Morgan Party

JP Morgan this week discovered the price of supporting Malcolm Glazer in his takeover of Manchester United Football Club. Executives from JP Morgan Investor Services were ambushed at the annual National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) conference, which took place this week at the GMEX centre in Manchester. A group of local fans opposed to the Glazer takeover stormed the Morgan party, throwing wine on guests and creating a rumpus which did not fail to amuse rival banks. Concluding discretion was the better part of valour, Morgan dismantled their stand in their exhibition hall before it attracted any further unwelcome attention.
