Richard Hale Returns To RBC Dexia Via HSBC And J.P. Morgan

Richard Hale, who left a position as head of sales at HSBC Securities Services as recently as 2007 to join JP Morgan has returned to his alma mater of RBC Dexia Investor Services as Regional Head, Sales & Relationship Management, UK, Ireland & Middle East. He starts in January 2009.

In addition to heading the company’s sales and relationship team in the region, Hale will have responsibility for implementing what RBC Dexia describe as “aggressive growth plans” in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East.

Prior to his short stint at JP Morgan Investor Services, and hsi longer stay at HSBC Securities Services, Hale worked at BISYS and RBC Global Services.

In fact, his latest move is a tribute to the power of the RBC old boys’ network. Having shifted to HSBC to join former RBC colleague Paul Stillabower in 2003, he is now reuinited with another former colleague at RBC and BISYS, Tony Johnson, to whom he will report.

At JP Morgan Investor Services, Hale served as Managing Director & Head of Sales, Asset Managers and Insurance Companies.
