The European Commission has decided to approve the Feasibility Study for the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.
In Strasbourg yesterday, EU Enlargement Commissioner, Ollie Rehn said that Serbia and Montenegro has made progress in the process of reforms. This declaration acknowledges the level of political and economic reforms in Serbia-Montenegro to be substantial enough for discussion regarding the EU Stabilization and Accession Agreement to begin.
“The Positive Feasibility Study reflects the positive outlook of the EU on Serbia and Montenegro, such as lower market risk and facilitation of further economic reforms,” said Milovan Protic, head of custody at HVB Bank Serbia and Montenegro.
