SmartPay works with banks at the regional level to enable real-time payments to provide more accurate processing, according to the company. Partner banks for the rollout of services in Shanghai include China Construction Bank (CCB) and China Merchants Bank (CMB). In Hebei, partners include Huaxia Bank and Agricultural Bank. The expansion to Shanghai and Hebei, closely follows SmartPay’s services rollouts in Anhui, Liaoning, Jiangsu and Chongqing, with banking partners including ICBC, CCB, CMB, ABC and others, and merchant partners including China Unicom, China Mobile, gaming companies and other utilities and retailers.
